Membership Types

Permanent Member (Under General Category)

Those Gentlemen who are permanent residents of Hyderabad, Secunderabad or their suburbs are eligible for the above membership.

Fees

  • Entrance Fees: Rs. 5,00,000/-
  • Monthly Subscription: Rs. 400/-

Mess Members

Commissioned Officers of the Services belonging or attached to any Officers’ Mess who apply through the President of the Mess shall be admitted as Mess members, provided that the Managing Committee shall have the power to fix the maximum limit for Mess Membership from time to time.
The President of the Mess shall undertake to pay subscription and any other dues of all its Officers.

Permanent Member (Under Son’s Category)

A son of a Permanent Member or a Lady Member who is a widow and continues to be a widow of a permanent member on his attaining the age of 25 years and on his application within 3 months may be elected as a Permanent Member, without ballot, subject to the following conditions:

  • Such person has been a Dependent Member for 9 years as a son of a Permanent Member or a Lady Member who is widow and continues to be a widow of Permanent Member and has paid the Club subscription under sub rule 2 (b) (ii) continuously from the attainment of 16 years of age of the attainment of 25 years of age provided that during nine years of such Dependent Membership a maximum break of total of six months during which his subscription has not been paid because of Sub-rule, 2 (a) (iv) or due to delay in his mother being admitted as a Lady Member shall be allowed.

Associate Member (Lady)

Associate Member (Lady) subject to the provisions of these Rules, a daughter of a Permanent Member, or a Lady Member who is a widow and continues to be the widow of the Permanent Member, on her attaining the age of 25 years and on her application within 3 months may be admitted under Rule IX as an Associate Member (Lady) provided:

  • that such daughter has been a Dependent Member for 9 years and has paid the Club subscription under Rule XV (2) (a) (v) continuously from the attainment of 16 years of age to the attainment of 25 years of age, and provided further that during the 9 years of such dependent membership a maximum break of a total of 6 months during which her subscription has not been paid because of Rule XV (2) (a) (vi) or due to the delay in her mother being admitted as a Lady Member, shall be allowed.
  • that in case she does not satisfy the conditions laid down in Rule VI (1) (a) above, or in case both her parents are not alive, she may also be considered as per her priority on the waiting list, if any, to be maintained for the purpose of this Sub Rule, provided that her father has been a Permanent subscribing member or her mother a Lady subscribing member for at least 5 years and provided further that she had not completed the age of 16 years on the date when her father became a Permanent Member.

Lady Members

A Lady,

  • who is unmarried.
  • who is a widow or
  • who is judicially separated or divorcee, may be admitted by the Committee under Rule IX as a Lady Member. The Membership of a Lady Member shall, on and from the date of her marriage or remarriage, as the case may be, cease forthwith.

  • Monthly Subscription : Rs. 355/-

Corporate Members

  • Any Company incorporated under the Companies Act 1956 or any Body established by a special statute of the State or Central Government or any internationally renowned Industry or Association (not including a Co-operative Society under any law relating to Co-operative Societies) having an office or place of business in Hyderabad, Secunderabad and its suburbs, may apply for Membership as a Corporate Member .
  • Any Company whose paid up capital is less than Rs.3 Crore (Rupees Three Crore only) shall not be entitled to apply for Corporate Membership.

Every Corporate Member, during its continuance as a Corporate Member, shall be entitled to effect a change of its nominees for its own reason and apply to the Committee for election of a fresh nominee. The Committee shall thereupon elect the fresh nominee following the same procedure for balloting as provided in Rule XI.

Fees

  • Entrance Fee for 1st Two Nominee: Rs. 20,00,000/-
  • Entrance Fee for every additional one nominee: Rs. 10,00,000/-
  • Service Tax as applicable
  • Monthly Subscription: Rs. 720/-

Temporary Members

Long-term Temporary:

  • A person may be admitted under Rule IX to Long Term Temporary Membership for a period of three years provided that he is not a permanent resident or has no permanent interests in Hyderabad, Secunderabad or their suburbs and has not been a resident for a period exceeding six months prior too the date of his application and has come down to Hyderabad, Secunderabad and their suburbs for a temporary stay in the course of his employment or transfer.
  • The term of a Long Term Temporary Member may be extended at the discretion of the Committee for a period of one year at a time subject to a maximum of three such extensions provided such a Long Term Temporary Member has not since acquired any permanent interests in Hyderabad, Secunderabad or their suburbs and his stay here has been extended in the course of his employment and provided further that such a person makes an application for extension under Rule IX at least one month prior to the expiration of his membership.

  • Monthly Subscription: Rs. 505/-

Short-term Temporary:

A person who has resided in Hyderabad, Secunderabad or their suburbs for a period not exceeding 2 months prior to the date of application may be admitted under Rule IX as a Temporary Member for a period of one month. However, subject to the provisions of this Rules the committee may extend this membership for a maximum period not exceeding six months in the aggregate.
