A Heritage Spanning Three Centuries
Established by the British in 1878, The Secunderabad Club stands as one of India’s oldest and most distinguished clubs. Nestled on a lush, green, 22-acre campus, its century-old Main Club House has been granted Heritage status by the Hyderabad Urban Development Authority. Towering trees, some of which are over a century old, gracefully host a variety of chirping birds, creating an oasis of tranquility amidst the bustling city.
Until 1947, the privilege of presidency and membership at The Secunderabad Club was exclusively reserved for British citizens and a select few high-ranking Hyderabad nobility. However, today, the Club boasts an impressive membership of 8000, encompassing individuals from all walks of life.
